The Redmi Note 7S that has a 48-megapixel primary camera is all set to be launched in the country on 20 May. After some of the initial glimpses, Xiomi had formally made a confirmation on the new phone with a 48-megapixel camera on Thursday. The Redmi Note 7 will be joining the Redmi Note 7 Pro series that had been launched earlier this year in the month of February.

It comes with a Sony IMX586 camera sensor on the back of the phone. There is a similarity between the RedmiNote 7 Pro and the new one to be launched soon. Probably this phone will also be coming with a dual rear camera setup in the phone. All of the exact specifications and features are still a mystery. This phone can be also seen as a superior version of the Redmi Note 7. It was launched in India with the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

The India chief of Xiomi Mr. Manu Kumar Jain had made a tweet in the post of Friday. This had revealed that RedmiNote 7S is going to be the next phone with a 48-megapixel camera. It will be the addition to the Redmi Note series of the country. With this specific tweet, there is also a confirmation made that the phone will be launched on May 20th this year.

It has already be seen that the Redmi Note 7S is going to be an addition to the Redmi Note 7 Pro that was priced at INR 16,599 and the Redmi Note 7 that is priced at INR 11,295 being the two latest models by the company. There is the probability that the new phone is going to be a variant that will sit between Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro for attracting the new customers.

Along with the tweet that Mr. Jain had posted with their tweet it showed the probability of a dual camera in the new smartphone. Although there is no revelation regarding the megapixel count that is installed in the secondary sensor.
