The social media promotions seem to be paying off as the company claims that there have been one lac bookings within the first 24 hours of the announcement. We are yet to know the exact number of bookings.
The scooter is said to have the best under-seat storage compartment when compared to other models in the same segment. The scooter will also offer mobile app-based access. It is estimated that the Ola electric scooter will provide up to 150 km with a single full charge.
The CEO has conducted another poll asking his followers about the top speed expected from the scooter. Though the poll results show that 49.4% of them want more than 100 kmph, it’s likely that the speed will be around 80 kmph.
While we do not know the actual price of the scooter, it is speculated to be around Rs. 1.5 lacs or less.
