Gucci stores in US to accept cryptocurrencies

Some of the world’s valuable brands Microsoft, AT & T and coffee chain Starbucks already start accepting virtual currencies and now Gucci (luxury Fashion brand) is the latest big name to join the list.

Owned by French conglomerate Kering has announced that Gucci customers can pay using a number of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum(ETH), Dogecoin(DOGE), Shiba Inu(SHIB), Bitcoin Cash (BTC) , Litecoin (LTC) and other digital currencies to selected stores in US –  New York’s Wooster Street, Los Angeles’ Rode Drive, Atlanta’s Phipps Plaza, Las Vegas’ The Shops at Crystals, and Miami Design District.

How to Pay using Cryptocurrency?

Customers will receive an email that will have a QR code which are black and white like squares. They can scan the QR code and pay through their digital asset wallet.

As per the report, Gucci is training it’s staff members about NFT and cryptocurrency & the brand is all set to launch the facility to it’s selected stores in North America this summer.

“Gucci is always looking to embrace new technologies when they can provide an enhanced experience for our customers,” said Gucci’s president and CEO, Marco Bizzarri, in a statement. “Now that we are able to integrate cryptocurrencies within our payment system, it is a natural evolution for those customers who would like to have this option available to them.”
