Amazon to roll out commercials on Prime Video from January 29, 2024

Video streaming provider Amazon.com to start showing ads in movies and TV shows from January 29th, 2024 for United States users while the change will happen in the UK, Germany, and Canada soon as the company already started informing the subscribers via email. For France, Italy, Spain, Mexico and AU customers advertisements show will happen later this year.

Don’t worry: To enjoy the ad-free experience you need to pay $2.99 per month. Cheers to 2024!! Amazon Prime users need to pay monthly $14.99 each month and $139 annually.

According to Amazon’s email, “This will allow us to continue investing in compelling content and keep increasing that investment over a long period. No action is required from you, and there is no change to the current price of your Prime membership.”
