New Year 2018 breaks all records on popular social media apps Facebook & WhatsApp.According to Venture Beat an American technology website people sent 75 billion messages on WhatsApp which include 13 billion images and 5 million videos.Comparing to other chat apps WhatsApp has created a history, known for sending the most no of messages in a single day.

In India where some people are still not using facebook and Whatsapp because they don’t have a smartphone or they don’t know how to use but still 200 million monthly active users on WhatsApp sent over 20 billion messages on WhatsApp.
In a recent discussion with a product Manager Erin Connolly of Facebook, he said more then 10 million people went live on Facebook on New Year’s eve to show their dear ones how they are welcoming 2018 and saying goodbye to 2017.
