How to use MultCloud
After logging in MultCloud, the first thing you should do is adding clouds into it. Most clouds support OAuth authorization system so that you don’t need to input username and password in MultCloud, the last authorized step is in cloud’s official web page. After adding, you can see your clouds are listed on the left side of MultCloud’s Cloud Explorer interface. Besides clouds, there is a Share management center on the left panel. By the way, there is no limits of accounts numbers in MultCloud, either same brand or different brand.
Under Cloud Explorer, you can manage your clouds and files in clouds like under Windows Explorer. Right click a file in the cloud and select options: create new folder, upload to cloud, download to local, delete, rename, cut, copy and paste, copy to, preview, share, view properties, etc. MultCloud has a search box on the right top, you can find your target files fast with related keywords. You can transfer files from one cloud service to another via copy&paste, copy to settings, drag&drop mouse. Other two highlights of MultCloud here are Share and Upload. The former has different kinds of shared link, share management center, edit share folder permission, etc. The latter can upload url instead of files to cloud, MultCloud will help you convert the download link to end file finally.
In Cloud Explorer, you can do easy transfer task, if you want to experience complex transfer mission, please switch to Cloud Transfer interface. Set target and destination at first, the directory can be not only the whole cloud service, but a folder in the cloud is OK. Then set options like overwritten, filter, email notification. Advanced setting is schedule, you can set daily, weekly, monthly transfer. MultCloud supports transferring even after power off. MultCloud has a task manager to check all transfer task and above mentioned upload task.
Another MultCloud’s key feature is sync, now switch to Cloud Sync interface to have a look at it. Type a task name, decide source and destination, select a sync way and set additional options, some are similar to transfer. Default sync way is one-way sync, you can click the arrow to convert to two-way sync. Other sync ways are: mirror sync, move sync, cumulative sync, update sync, incremental backup sync and full backup sync. Choose them from dropdown menu or in options. As transfer, sync supports schedule too, and you can check sync task from MultCloud task manager.
I think it’s necessary to have a glance at MultCloud’s task manager. You can enter it by clicking the button the top right of window. You could search task, commit the task again or cancel it, or delete it or view logs.
Unlike single cloud app, MultCloud is not a cloud storage service, it has no storage space but spends traffic when transferring and syncing.
